Travel is something we all love and enjoy no matter what age we are, but as we grow older the experiences we crave naturally will change as we seek out different adventures. Our choices and tastes are going to develop as we all get longer in the tooth, so this article is for all of you wonderful people looking for a more adult-themed vacation, maybe a getaway without the kids where you can let your hair down a little more, and of course, if you do have children then this is just a nice little guide to give you some more cool ideas for a stay away from home.
Las Vegas
So we are going to start big, and as we know everything is bigger in the U.S.A. Vegas is a place I have frequented on two separate occasions, and although for some it may be a bit much for me 5 days here are a fantastic time. I’m a big fan of poker and play online a lot mainly at Bitcoin Poker from Betpanda UK as I’m also a self-confessed crypto bro. Getting to hit the tables and pay in Vegas was a life experience for me though, as well as catching an amazing show by world-famous magicians Penn and Teller.
Vegas has some of the quirkiest places to stay as well, you can go super high-end and stay at the Cosmopolitan or the Bellagio, or if you fancy something a bit more fun the Luxor is always a good choice. Who doesn’t like living in a giant pyramid for a few days? The facilities in Vegas are fantastic as well, there a so many pools, bars and great restaurants as well as great places to game.
Rio de Janeiro
Now Rio de Janeiro is 100% a destination you could travel to with a family, but I feel the first time it’s better experienced with just adults. The city has a reputation for being a little risky (a fair reputation) but there is so much here to love, and if you are smart and don’t do anything daft you will be fine visiting here. Ibe lived here for two years myself so I can attest to this.
You can get most of the sights done in Rio in a day or two and going to see Christ the Redeemer and Sugarloaf Mountain are well worth the effort. The city’s vibrant nightlife though is what stands out. The samba bars and block parties are special, every night there is something to do and you won’t be spoiled for choice. Rio also has some of the best city beaches on the planet. For meat eaters as well it’s a paradise, the beef here is superb and going to a churrascaria is a must.
That brings this quaint little guide to an end, I hope it has inspired you to book a trip away soon and take some time to enjoy life to the fullest. As they say, you never know unless you give it a go.
