Wednesday Wants: Perfect Picnic Picks

Whisper it…but the sun finally seems to be out. And when the sun’s shining, there’s no better place to be than Great Britain (if only because everyone’s so happy that summer has finally turned up). To help you make the most of it,  this week’s Wednesday Wants is all about perfect (and rather fun) picnic accessories.

First up, these marvellous deck chairs from the Royal Parks designer collaboration. Made to order and retailing at around £100 each, these three beauties are by the artist Fleur Cowles, fashion designer Matthew Williamson and actress Joanna Lumley.

If you’re anything like me, a picnic isn’t a picnic without some fizz….however it often ends up watering the grass. Keep bottles and glasses upright with this holder for £20 by Berry Red on Notonthehighstreet

I also love these Alphabet Paper Plates by Hunkydory Home (£14 on Notonthehighstreet). And with 26, you’re not going to run out and have to chop your cheese on a crisp packet.

Lastly, brush up on your geography while enjoying your sandwiches and jam tarts with this illustrated London map picnic blanket (£41.50 by Just a Joy on Notonthehighstreet).

Do share what you’ve been doing to make the most of the weather (while it lasts)….and hope I haven’t jinxed it….
