Tulip mania
A month ago today it was Christmas Eve. It seems an age ago we were hanging up those Christmas stockings and looking forward to the ‘big day’ don’t you think? As my previous posts can vouch, I love everything about Christmas, but once that last mince pie has been eaten and the baubles are back up in the loft for another year, I’m well and truly ready for spring. I don’t want to mess around with January, February and March. I want to see crocus, daffodils and tulips along with a promising glimpse of sunshine. Well, with no plans to travel to any exotic climates in the near future, I’m going to have to live for the moment and find the magic in these cold winter months.
However, on my visit to HOME London last week I came across a solution of sorts: this fantastic new Tulip kitchen range by Lotta Odelius for Sagaform. Part of Sagaform’s new Print Collection of kitchenware products, it doesn’t launch here in the UK until the end of next month, but I think you’ll find that like all good things this is worth waiting for.
The Tulip series is a tribute to the vibrant, colour flower and will add a touch of spring to any kitchen with its bold colourful graphics.
With prices ranging between £4.50 and £17.00, it’a an affordable way to bring a splash of spring into your home, which can’t be a bad thing in my book.
