Summer Wind

“The summer wind came blowing in,” that is a song, Sintra sang it. I was thinking of it this week as we have had incredible weather. The windows are open, the breeze is blowing in, the curtains flutter.

It is very pleasant in London, warm, sunny, a summer wind. Let’s enjoy it and in our homes where windows are open, have that chilled glass of Sancere, grab your book or iPad sit by the open window and chill.

Listening to the song Summer Wind again, it is a sad one, it is  a story of a summer affair and he lost his sweetheart to the summer wind, one summer wind. At least in London it is pleasant.

  3. Ah, this post is just bittersweet. Summer is always fun but there are also memories of people and things of summers past that just makes us wistful and a tad sad.
