I Love Animals by Alessi

Alessi have taken their first step into lighting design with these beautiful little birds in range called I Love Animals; designed by Italian Art Director Pier Paolo Pitacco. These little sparrows are constructed in a way to symbolically reflect reality: the wire frame the skeleton; the fabric coating the feathers. I guess we can imagine the light inside reflects the soul of the cheeky sparrow?  Thankfully being an LED bulb this little birdy will be around for a lot longer than the real thing! There is a colour changing LED inside which means you can even change its colour. And during the day they look just as good perched around the house with the light turned off. Smart little birds those Sparrows.

A flock of these lights will be winging their way to the shops at about the same time the Swallows  return; so some time in April and will be £125.
