Thankfully, there are solutions out there that will help you keep cosy whilst being able to drop the thermostat down a degree or two.

There are bedding options that can help you keep warm, such as all in one season duvets from bedding specialists such as Silent Night and cheap winter duvets from the bedding company. An all seasons bedding set means that you don’t have to replace your bedding every season, you will stay nice and cool in summer, and snug as a bug in a rug in winter! If all else fails, electric blankets are cheap and efficient ways of keeping you warm!

Though layered clothing may be a little grungy, it is a fashion which is currently resurfacing into mainstream culture; cardigans, thick socks and all sorts of woolly items are a great excuse to keep the heating down! If that doesn’t suit you however, what about a nice all-in-one for your day off. Looking like a teletubbie has never felt so good!

Surround yourself with warm colours! It is a well-known element of psychology that a house with warm colours will naturally make you feel much warmer than you actually are. This means that you will be less inclined to pump the temperature up and lose money through heating. By simply painting your walls, you could very quickly find yourself saving pounds on every gas and electricity bill.
