Floral-inspired fabrics and wallpapers by Maggie Levien for John Lewis

Due to the wettest April on record here in the UK and the accompanying lack of sunshine, the flowers in our gardens are not blooming as they should be at this time of year…
So, instead what better way to bring florals into your home than with these beautiful fabrics and wallpapers from textile designer Maggie Levien?
As part of John Lewis’s Design Collective which is a showcase of work by both established and emerging design talent, Maggie has created a range of designs exclusively for the store.
This week’s blog post starts off with four of her fabrics – Titiana in two colourways, followed by Adela and Viola.

And from her wallpaper collection are Viola and Titiana again, in two colourways…

As for a little bit of background about Maggie…
In 1993, she graduated from Manchester Metropolitan University. And prior to setting up her own business in 2006, she worked for Osborne & Little, developing some of their most popular fabrics and wallpapers, including the award-winning Asuka.
Maggie is admired for her bold approach to colour, scale and style. She’s inspired by nature and has an enduring passion for the symmetry and simplicity found in Japanese and Chinese fabrics.
