Floral-inspired artwork from Bertie and Jack

When I was at the Country Living Magazine Spring Fair in London last week, I came across Bertie & Jack‘s beautiful stand.

So today, I thought I’d feature a selection of their floral-inspired artwork, starting off with a very apt design above for this weekend…

Here’s a little bit of background about the company…

Started by partners Rebecca Macey-Cross and Emma Hughes in 2010 after having their children, Bertie and Jack, the couple sell their work from their market stall in Bath and also through their website.

Using their hand-drawn illustrations as cut-out designs, their Love Birds and Original Ellys were the first in the Bertie & Jack series, and are still amongst their most popular designs.

Not only are the cut-out designs illustrated by Bertie & Jack, but each of the colourful background prints, which change seasonally, are designed by them too.

I think all the designs would look wonderful in a a nursery or children’s room…don’t you?  They’d also make a perfect gift and would certainly brighten up any home…

If you’d like to keep up-to-date with Bertie & Jack’s news, the company is on Twitter and Facebook.  Plus they also have a blog.
