Fashion Focus: Day

Scandinavian Day Birger et Mikkelsen has just launched a beautiful new website where you can shop the latest from their womenswear collection, menswear and sister label ’2nd Day’ which caters for the Day customers younger sister. Based in Denmark, Day merges Scandinavian simplicity with masculine tailoring and and an easy approach to elegance.

Day founder, Keld Mikkelsen describes his brand as ‘a fusion between near and far. Local and global. The sophistication of a jet setter mixed with the free spirit of a modern gypsy’.

Day is perhaps better known as a clothing label, but did you know they also design an interior and lifestyle collection? The line diffuses a heady blend of travel and exoticism, with obvious influences from designer Marianne Brandi’s visits to Morocco, India and the far east.
