Christmas decorations for your home created by the Jane Packer team

Earlier this month I attended the Country Living Fair in London.

Hannah from the Jane Packer team was there demonstrating how to make Christmas decorations for your home.

She started off by creating a beautiful tablecentre which you can see above…

To make the design, she used floral foam in a plastic dish, which she covered with pale blue fabric.

After inserting pine and eucalyptus foliage into the foam, she added white ‘Avalanche’ roses in groups.  And some of them were given a little touch of Christmas sparkle using glitter.

She also used smaller headed ‘Green Fashion’ roses with slightly bluey tones to complement the pine.

And then cotton, baubles and pine cones were added to give different textures to the design.

She suggested accessorising the tablecentre by placing it on a mirror plate, surrounded by tea lights.

For a retro woodland feel, Hannah showed us how to make the hanging design below, using a log decorated with pine.

Snowflake decorations were attached and snow spray liberally applied…!

And to finish off, she showed us how to make and decorate a Christmas wreath which would either be used on a door or as a tablecentre.

Here’s a close-up of her design below which featured cinnamon sticks, bronze-sprayed pine cones, orange slices, baubles and whole oranges.
