Artist Spotlight: Cristian Zuzunaga

Hardly do I find anyone whose entire collection appeals to me.

The first time I saw Mr Zuzunaga’s work, I was blown away.

Its beauty, creativity and ingenuity stand out.

Born in Barcelona to a Catalan mother and Peruvian Father, Cristian is a graduate of both The London College of Communication and Royal College of Arts.

I am short on words to describe his art. In the simplest terms, I have never seen pixellation look so good.

He  works with a bright array of  colours, and on this, He says, “He uses colour as a spatial medium that enforces identity and encourages interaction between individuals and their surroundings“.

His work embraces a digital slant without losing the warmth that an interiors product should have. I find this very  interesting and quite fascinating.

Asides interiors, he is also into a bit of fashion so he has a scarf collection, a tote and  some shoes.

I’d let his work do the  talking:

He has also done  a number of collaborations such as with The Tate gallery, Hastens and Christophe Delcourt. Cristian is based in London
